It seems like everyone is watching Game of Thrones right now—and it makes sense. This is the final season, after all, so the hype is monstrous. Fan theories are popping up every five seconds about what we can expect, and the show trends on Sundays before it even starts. GoT is going out with a bang, and we’re all here to witness it.
That includes celebrities, too. You might think you’re the biggest Game of Thrones fans out there, but I guarantee you these 11 celebrities have you beat. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if each of them spends their free time trolling Reddit for theories and retweeting memes from fan accounts. What? Just because they’re hot, rich, and famous doesn’t mean they’re immune to the powers of Sansa Stark.
Below, check out the hands down biggest Game of Thrones fans in Hollywood. Who knows? Maybe one of them will join you for your next viewing party.
She and husband Joe Manganiello thew an epic Game of Thrones party for the season-eight premiere, complete with a cake, themed glasses, and cozy Winterfell blankets. My invite must have gotten lost in the mail.
Emilia Clarke revealed in a 2015 interview with Harper’s Bazaar that Jay Z actually bought Beyoncé a real dragon egg from the Game of Thrones set, which confirms they’re capital-S Stans. Now I’m picturing Queen B watching old episodes in between her Coachella performances last year.
Philipps is a GoT fan with a particular position of power: She has her own talk show on E!, Busy Tonight, which means she can invite Thrones actors to come on as guests and then grill them. That’s exactly what she did with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister. Please have Sophie Turner on next, Busy!
Washington knows so much about Game of Thrones, she explained to Glamour two years ago exactly how her Scandal character, Olivia Pope, would fare in Winterfell. “I would be scared for Olivia Pope to meet up with a White Walker,” she said. “That would be unfortunate. Blood on the white coat? No bueno.”
Legend is so devoted to Game of Thrones that he locked Chrissy Teigen out of his viewing party for the show’s season eight premiere. Obviously, this didn’t stop the Cravings author from breaking in and wreaking more havoc than Little Finger. “They won’t let us watch #GoT because we talk too much,” Teigen tweeted about the situation.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are devoted to GoT, as evidenced in a 2017 interview when Prince William revealed their favorite TV shows. “Homeland, we’re big fans of that, and Game of Thrones,” he said. Their fandom is so intense, in fact, that they probed Thrones actor Tom Wlaschiha for spoilers when they met two years ago. “They said they really liked Game of Thrones and have watched every series. They wanted spoilers, but I said I couldn’t tell them. I’m surprised they have time to watch such a long-running series,” Wlaschiha told The Evening Standard.
Bell and Shepard are perhaps the most passionate celebrity Game of Thrones. Look no further than the video they made in 2017 about the show for proof of that.
Remember when the pop icon dressed up as Daenerys Targaryen back in 2014? Queens supporting queens.
